We built KISHA because you have enough to remember. To make sure our smart features actually work in the real world, our team ran over 250 rigorous field tests. We fine-tuned the technology to create an app that works seamlessly in the background—saving your umbrella, saving the last known location, saving your battery, and keeping you dry.
How the Bluetooth™ tracking works
To ensure you never leave your KISHA behind, the app uses a multi-layered safety check. If the app is in the foreground, it checks every 3 seconds for a signal from our tracker. If the app is in the background, it performs a Bluetooth check every 15 minutes.
For added security, we’ve integrated Significant Location Change (SLC) tracking—triggering an automatic check whenever your phone connects to a new cell tower (usually every 100-200-500m).
For the ultimate peace of mind, you can set a Safe Zone (home or office) with a custom radius from 10m to 100m. The moment you leave that zone, KISHA fires an immediate check to verify your umbrella is with you. If you leave it at a cafe, you’ll know within a block, allowing you to turn back before it even starts to pour.
Daily Weather Forecast Notifications
Stay prepared on your own schedule. You can set up a daily weather forecast alert for every day, weekdays only, or just the weekends. You choose the exact time you want the notification delivered, so you know what the sky looks like before you even step outside.
Weather (Rain) Alerts
Go beyond a standard forecast with fully customizable precipitation alerts. You define the threshold—whether you want to be notified of a high, mid, low, or fully custom chance of rain. You set the rules. KISHA checks the forecast at intervals of your choice—every 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours—and alerts you based on your specific settings so you always know when to take your KISHA with you.
